Mostly that's the reason that the test drive offered non AU'd prompts as well, because those are what's required for one's application. Over all, we've just found that RP threads show a grasp of a character a lot better than stand alone writing pieces.

That said, if you are totally unable to find the opportunity to thread with the character as their normal self, we will take writing samples even if we vastly prefer the alternative. Though, in that case I would ask for two separate top-level writing samples, at least one of which that features dialogue.
